Feng Shui Architecture

Duplex: Balgowlah Heights, Sydney

Project Architects -                  Darryl Gradwell, Bec Francis

Client -                           Robert Sebel

Status -                              Occupied

Builder -                             Ken Cox Constructions

This duplex was designed for a standard rectangular suburban block on top of a ridge.

The car-parking facilities are kept in the middle to provide both units with orientation towards the north/east and north/west. Each unit has a generous garden and upper floor balconies.

Materials were chosen to reflect solidity to the south and lightness to the north, playing on the contrast between yin and yang.
